The defending state champion Bethesda Lions kicked off their 2024-25 season with a thrilling win on Homecoming night. Playing before a packed and energized home crowd, the Lions emerged victorious over the visiting Heritage Christian Falcons with a final score of 57-45.
Returning to the court for the first time since their championship victory, Bethesda's players didn't miss a beat. Sophomore Will Myers led the way with 16 points, followed by Juniors Jacob Helge 14 points, and Alex Rosario 9 points. Freshman Parker Campbell also contributed with 7 points. The Lions look to build on their performance Tuesday November 5 as they travel to take on Christian Life Prep at 6:00pm in a rematch of last years Final Four. Go Lions!
