At Bethesda, athletics are not simply a supplement to the school experience. On the contrary, athletics are a major part of the holistic development of our students.
Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered, quality athletic program which gives students an opportunity to participate in co-curricular activities, all while co-laboring with fellow students toward a common purpose.
We mentor students not only in the physical aspects of the sport but also in the social and emotional aspects of competition. We understand that athletics can be an important part of Christian character development, and we give glory to God as we compete and grow. (Colossians 3:23-24)
Bethesda’s athletes compete in football, basketball, baseball, cross country, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball, and golf. Senior School teams compete in Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) athletics. Middle School teams compete in Christian Schools Athletic Fellowship (CSAF) sports. Our Elementary Schools participate in-house through our Bethesda Athletics Elementary Sports Program.
