The Lady Lions opened their district campaign with a dominant performance, showcasing strong offensive and defensive play. Leading the charge was sophomore Izzy Harrington, who delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 23 points and energizing her team on both ends of the court.
 

In a much closer contest, the boys secured a thrilling 31-29 victory over Victory Baptist to kick off district play. Junior Jacob Helge led the way with 12 points, providing the offensive spark the team needed.

The game was a back-and-forth battle, with neither team able to gain a significant edge. The Lions' defense stepped up in the final minutes, forcing key stops to seal the win.

Both teams will host Wichita Christian School this Saturday January 11. The girls tip off at 3:00PM and the boys team at 4:30PM.
