Fort Worth, TX – Bethesda Men's Basketball took a 64-25 win over Keller Harvest Christian in their district opener on Friday night in the Bethesda Lions Gym. This win marked the Lions' twenty-first of the 2022-23 season as they improve to 21-2 overall and 1-0 in district play.
Bethesda finished the night shooting 45.5% from the field and holding Harvest to just 27.0% while forcing 23 turnovers from the Crusaders. The Lions were led by
Christian Blackwell who posted 18 points and 5 rebounds, including 4 offensive rebounds. Senior
Eli Owen followed with 13 points while
Hanson Allen and
Kevin Thornton each finished with 11.
Bethesda will now face Christian Life Prep in their second district game of the season on Tuesday, January 10, at 6:00pm in the Bethesda Lions Gym.
