Fort Worth, TX – The Bethesda Middle School Boys Basketball team have advanced to the CSAF Regional Championship after defeating Keene 39-37 in an intense back and forth battle. The Lions took a 20-17 lead going into halftime of the CSAF Regional Semifinals, but they would go down 37-33 with four minutes left in the game. Over those four minutes, the Lions would put on a tough defensive stand at would tie the game 37-37 with just 54 seconds. Bethesda would eventually go on to hit a game-winning shot at 19 seconds to take the 39-37 victory over Keene. The Lions remain undefeated on the season at 13-0.
Bethesda will now face Victory Christian in the CSAF Regional Championship on Tuesday, February 14, at 6:45pm at Fort Worth Academy.
