The BCS Varsity Track Team had an outstanding performance at the Fort Worth Country Day Meet on Friday, March 7th. Here are the results for both field and running events:

Long Jump:

• Girls: Braelyn Brunson – 15'06" (3rd place)

Shot Put:

• Boys: Jacob Helge – 2nd place, 40'05"

Discus:

• Boys: Jacob Helge – 3rd place, PR throw of 100'06"

• Atticus Giere: 3rd place, 11:06.27
• Boden Curtis: 5th place, 11:29.22

800m:

• Gabe Combs: 8th place, PR time of 2:18.57
• Boden Curtis: 14th place, 2:22.22

100m:

• Boys: Jacob Helge – PR time of 12.87
• Girls: Braelyn Brunson – 13th place, 14.44; Shelby Gilbert – 14th place, 14.55 (First meet of the season)

400m:

• Boys: Will Myers – 14th place, PR time of 58.22; Atticus Giere – 9th place, 56.78
• Girls: Braelyn Brunson – 5th place, 1:06.39; Shelby Gilbert – 1:21.00
